Well done princess Val!

Well done my dear princess!! You longed for a trophy and you finally got it!! Your hard work, sheer tenacity and strong faith have brought you so far, especially after so many rounds of stiff tournaments! We are super duper proud of you!!! 

This netball competition has given you the opportunity to learn beyond the textbook. It is definitely an awesome learning curve for you to learn about team work, team spirit,  courage, perseverance and sportsmanship. Continue to dream big and believe in yourself! Stand tall and fight a good fight!!! May this experience be another testimony of our awesome Father's goodness!!!

This dish is actually my hubby's favourite home cooked food. It reminds him of home, his childhood and his mum's cooking. Interestingly, my children love it too.  

I realized once you marry someone, u learn to love each other's likes, and accept each other idiosyncrasies.  As years go by, husband and wife will come together and create their own family likes, traditions, culture..... 

Mini supper

When I was about to just fall flat onto my sofa to watch my Hongkong TV drama, my dear hubby asked me to prepare him a 'mini' supper!  Hmmm being a ' submissive! Wife, I abided. May this 'mini' super warms his heart and gut! 

Intentional beautiful easter memory

Actually this week has been emotionally draining, and I was procrastinating about this Easter Hunt. Yet I know this will be a family tradition for our children. I hate to disappoint them.....The truth is it is not going to take too much time. With that, I'm thankful we just went ahead! The kids had a fabulous time just running around, scooting, hunting, laughing, friendly bickering,  chasing one another.  Ta da! Another intentional beautiful memory created!!

Just a hug!

I was so physically and emotionally drained when my hubby came back from work today. I forced a faint smile and pretended everything was fine. I guess I wasn't convincing enough, he sensed my lethargy and gave me a long awaited hug. When he was about to go, I told him to linger alittle longer :" Honey, my battery is running low. I need to be charged." After the seemingly long one minute , longer than usual hug, my countenance changed. He knew I don't need solutions, I just need the affection, and validation.  

BINGO!! He finally got it after 15 years! 

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
