Year end bonus?

Dear Mr Tan, I'm writing this SMS to address my 2014 year end bonus issue. The three subordinates under me had shown very tangible favorable performances especially this year.  And over the past 15 years, I have been faithfully serving this prestigious 'organization' without bonus and yet my responsibilities increased exponentially along the years when our organization expanded! Duties like clearing perpetual mess that picture showed above is a responsibility that wasn't included in my job description initially. Please kindly look into this pressing issue seriously and I'm looking forward hearing from you, Boss! Thank you!

voi·là!!!! Our very own cardboard fireplace for this glorious xmas!!! Simply love the idea of doing this procrastinated project with the kids. To me, it is not the perfection that matters, but to create bonding moments as well as to inspire creativity. We had turned our previous stalls into this beautiful heartwarming fireplace!!! May the kids see the wonders of thinking OUT of the box!!! This experience will become our fond memories !

A year of greater glory!

This year is especially trying for me! It stretches me emotionally , psychologically and physically. Val and ven were studying two different sessions. I was trying to juggle with three schedules, chauffeuring, teaching, coaching , disciplining three totally different personalities plus endless mundane chores. Val was more emotional this year, due to her escalating stress in school. Gab was testing his boundaries. Ven's Primary 1 'a learning curve is very different from Val. So I had to adjust my style of teaching her. Then, her hormone deficiency finally broke my last straw.  I broke down.... I questioned my ability to parent my kids, I felt so helpless, so defeated, so discouraged. I wanted to quit this 'job'! I learn to fight my battles on my knees one day at a time.  I was exceedingly overwhelmed. I know I needed more divine wisdom, strength, joy and love. 

Today, I see Val's achievement, I'm so humbled and utterly amazed! Indeed He is very faithful and He always exceeds what we ask for.   I see God's footprints in those periods when I just cried out to Him.  All is worth it!!! Amen!! Indeed this year 2014 is a year of greater glory!!!!

Blessed to give than to receive!

I wanted to do something more meaningful this Xmas! So I decided to ask my three blessed kiddos to give whatever amount of their hard earned savings to the needy children this Xmas. We went to daiso and packed 20 cute bags of presents! May this glorious Xmas inspires a spirit of altruism, love and joy!!!!

Val's first scholarship and many more to come!!!
