Little surprise!!

May this little surprise boast this princess Val's morale for her Math exam! I hope she has a skip in her steps, brimming with joy and confidence , so ready for any battle she faces.

“Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!”

Mummy! This is for u!

My precious thoughtful princess made me a glass of ice honey drink when she saw me doing the endless chores! I'm so proud of her!

It is indeed enough when God sees it

I love what graceful mama shared....

"Sure I am willing to sacrifice, to serve my family, to go mostly without recognition.  But, there is that little part that wants to be known, to be recognized, to be called by my name.

She smiles and I see Jesus all over her.  His is the name that she is known by….it is her identity.  He sees her.  And it is enough.

It is E-N-O-U-G-H.

He sees you.  He is proud of you.  He adores you.  His praise is the only praise we need.  His love fills our need for identity

Zephaniah 3:17 says, “He will rejoice over you with singing, He will quiet you with His love.”

Do you believe it? Is it enough for you?"

God will take care of Ven

My cute little princess is so petite that she could fit in a bag!!!  I refuse to allow worries to overcome me. I know my God is able to supply all her needs and help her to grow!

25 Therefore I tell you, stop being[a]perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing?

26 Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?

27 And who of you by worrying andbeing anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the [b]span of his life?

The best thing we can Do for our children

the best thing a mom can do for her children is love their father well.

"we do OUR PART to make the BEST of marriage, (whatever it looks like!) our whole family will be blessed. Never forget the power and influence you have as a wife and mother. A few more ways we can LOVE OUR HUSBANDS WELL:" from Monica

  • Pray for him daily.
  • Speak WELL of him in front of your kids.
  • Compliment him IN FRONT OF THE KIDS, and privately.
  • Make his favorite meals, just because.
  • Laugh at his jokes.
  • Go out of your way to serve him–find creative ways to be kind.
  • Plan FUN dates.
  • Reach out to him physically, don’t wait for him to reach out to you.
  • Take time to look good for him.  Both publicly and privately.
  • Thank him for all of his good qualities.

I'm so proud of you, Val!!!

Val, Mummy is so proud of your achievements. It was not easy to handle the 3 difficult piano pieces. But with your sheer hard work, determination and of course rewards, you made it! Not only a pass, but a high merit!

I hope u realized that you have this innate ability to overcome any difficulty in life.  This experience had taught you
perseverance.  Most musicians have to work difficult sections of music multiple times in a row before they can play it correctly.  It takes real patience to believe you can do it if you keep practicing.

Music is something that mummy doesn't understand or appreciate much. Yet I know it has this special power to help you to recognize and understand beauty in a deeper way and to understand love, compassion, gentleness and how to live more fully within this world.

I hope music will bring you immense joy, and a way for you to De-stress in this confusing world.  I wish I could escape into this music world that could translate my raw emotions into music.

Music  defines beauty differently, and you will definitely draw closer to our Heavenly Father and hear the true music from your heart!  Keep making music and bring others to know Him through this channel!

Luv, mummy

Am I an octopus?

Which house chore do u abhor the most??
I hate ironing the most! So my dear ah Lao, I'm going to outsource this chore, unless u want your pants to have either no line or double lines on it!

But I'm grateful that he has a very realistic expectation of how much I could do and how perfect it could be......So He either helps or hmmm close one eye to it!  Most importantly, I have to remind him that I majored in Psychology and Child Development, not domestic work from house-chores University! My funny ah ven

My poem to God just before I see a dentist!!

Let me hear your sweet assuring sound;🎵🎶
And in you, I know peace is Found;
No doubt that I am safe with you Around;
Even if I am at the faraway Moon;🌙
And His divine Peace engulfs me so Soon⭐

He is with me in sunshine, and rain☔;
So I'm so assured that I'm not even afraid of Hurricane;🌀
He is like a strong and dependable  Tree🌳
That shelters all kinds of animals even Bees.🐝

I know because of the wounds and stripes  He Bear;
I am made whole and strong 💪here; while He died on the cross for my sins and failures there.
He took all the pain, humiliation and Shock;
That we know He is indeed our steadfast Rock!

Cyber bullying

From
Handsfreemama

To my dear daughter,

Technology is becoming a part of your life more and more. Eventually you will want a phone and will want to start communicating with others online. Before that day comes, it is important for me to tell you a few things. You will hear these words a lot from me—you might even get sick of them. But these reminders are important. When the time comes, you will know how important they are. When you are hurting, let me remind you of these things

Let me remind you …

When you are teased, hurt, or humiliated, that day will seem horrible and unbearable. Just know that when you make it through that night, things have a way of looking more hopeful in the morning. Tomorrow holds possibilities that you cannot see today. I will help you see the promises in tomorrow when you can’t see them for yourself.

Let me remind you …

With me, you don’t have to be strong. You can cry, scream, and let out your true feelings. My love for you cannot be changed by revealing the feelings going on inside you—no matter how hard they are to say out loud.

Let me remind you …

You are worthy of love, respect, and kindness. If other kids hurt you, together we’ll figure out a way to help you work through those problems or distance yourself from them if needed.

I encourage you to find that one loyal and kind friend to go through the school year with – don’t let societal standards fool you into believing friends must be popular, good looking, or cool – at the end of the day, kindness is the most important quality to have in a friend and be in a friend.

Let me remind you …

If you have been humiliated or teased, facing certain people may seem impossible. But you have the courage and strength within you to show others they cannot hold you back from living your life.

Let me remind you …

No matter how personal the attack, it is about them—their insecurities and issues—not about you.

Let me remind you …

No matter how humiliated you are or how embarrassing it is to tell me what happened, when I look at you, I see my beautiful and amazing child. No one can change the way I see you.

Let me remind you …

You can come to me with anything—even if you made a mistake, even if you used bad judgment. There is nothing that is “too bad” to tell me. Believe me, I have made plenty of mistakes and even though it was hard to let someone else in, I was so relieved not to carry the burden alone.

Let me remind you …

If your gut tells you what someone is doing is wrong, it probably is. Don’t take part. Letting an adult know about someone who is being harmed or bullied does not make you a coward—it makes you courageous and compassionate; it makes you a good friend who can look back on this later and life and proudly say, “I didn’t turn the other cheek. I tried to help.”

Let me remind you …

I cannot make your problems and hurts go away, but I can listen. And together we can come up with a solution. There is nothing we can’t get through together. You are never, never alone.

I love you forever & always.

Mom
