My dear firstborn has been asking about God lately especially after watching the Easter story- God Rocks! Prior to that spark of fire, she has been writing her prayer journal when she saw me writing my heartfelt prayers.
I guess God has His timing.... I confessed to God that I have done only mediocre teaching about Him as I myself has too many far fetch questions. Yet, He still knocks on my daughter's heart..... a whisper that touches her heart. She cried watching Jesus died on the cross and have been sharing with her friends in school about how much God loves us.
She also started to make flowers and card to God and oh mind, what she wrote was an innocent and pure confession of her LOVE for GOD. No wonder, God says "LET ALL THE CHILDREN COME!" I know I have to do something. So I bought Stormie's book about prayer that simplifies the salvation prayer. I told her a few days in advance to urge her to ponder about this serious prayer and we read it together on this special night, 12th may. She accepted Christ into her heart!!! My brimming tears flowed when I saw her sheer Joy in receiving God into her life and her name will be written in the BIG Book of LIFE. She was so thrilled signing the contract!!!!!
She loves the Joseph story and started singing the beautiful song that I truly agreed " I let go the reason to know why." Sometimes, we have to let go our painful questions and know that HE is in CONTROL.
THANK YOU LORD!!!YOU ARE INDEED AMAZING TO WORK THINGS IN YOUR TIME! LET HER PASSION FOR YOU CONTINUE to BURN AND MAY OTHERS SEE YOU IN HER LIFE!!!
