My dear ah lao always complained incessantly about how untidy our living room is.... BUT my living room is indeed amazing. I can put so much things that actually don't match , yet very functional. This awesome room can accomodate my 3 seater sofa + 1 + 1 , coffee table, side table , my huge 7 feet TV console, a shoe cabinet, a slide, a toy kitchen set, a playpen, a toy basket, 2 boxes of books......
The BEST part is we can STILL play football, do acrobats and fashion shows, practise violin, sing karaoke, watch TV, study, eat, read, sleep in this living room!!!! Most importantly, we celebrated birthdays, chinese new years, christmas, even national day in this amazing room. This place is going to bring me VERY FOND memories. A place of laughter and tears.....YES, a little messy for the exchange of REAL human interaction, esp with your children. I think it is definitely worth it! A room full of LIFE!
