The first CHIMA cake that I made collapsed. We were all so disappointed. Gab was so kind to console this exhausted mummy that it was ok to go without a cake. I really hate to disappoint him. So jie jie n I managed to come out with this idea using Gab's CHIMA toys instead!
After the celebration, Gabriel hugged me a lot. He seemed to understand that mummy had tried her best to 'saved' his cake. Though it did not meet his expectation, he appreciates a lot. I could see it in his eyes his thankfulness! With that, it warmed my heart, my last effort to do something after the collapse of the cake. I wanted to give up n just go without a cake. Or maybe I could rush out to but him a cake. After a short SOS prayer, I went ahead with that contingency plan with Val! Very thankful to God that we pulled through. Not the best but it portrayed our persistence to cheer Gab up! And most importantly , with God things are possible!!!
