Happy blessed 49th birthday Singapore!!!

When I finally see my kids watching NDP, I know my kids are more grown up! They are more cognitively mature to understand and appreciate this celebration now. For the first time, our family stood and sang the national anthem! At that moment, my heart was filled with sheer gratitude and pride. I'm so blessed to raise my children in this safe clean blessed country! I want my children to feel this strong sense of belonging and be proud to be a Singaporean. We are such a small and vulnerable nation, but we are resilient, courageous, highly disciplined people lead by strong unwavering sacrificial far sighted leaders!  May my children never take this peace, security and prosperity for granted and as if it is 'supposed' to be! Happy BLESSED 49th Birthday!!!!
